Initial Meeting 

Our first meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss your aspirations, requirements and budget for the project. I can also share examples of my own work with you and discuss the design process.

I will then put together a design brief, outlining my approach, work stages and fee breakdown.

Site Survey and Analysis (Getting to know the space)

I will complete a measured site survey and record existing features, aspect, drainage, access and surrounding environment. For larger sites with complex levels, a site survey may need to be completed by a specialist surveyor.

Presentation Drawings (Hard Landscape and Planting Plan)

Firstly, I will share and discuss my initial ideas and thoughts for your new space with you. This will include layout options, visuals and example images. This process may include several meetings with you before completing the final plans.

Build

Once the final plans have been agreed, I will produce the necessary construction drawings to enable the design to be built. The level of construction information required will depend on the complexity of the design.  

I can recommend specialist contractors to complete the build, or alternatively I can put together a written specification and tender package, if you wish to put the project out to tender.  

Planting

I can source plants from trusted nurseries and implement the planting following the completion of the hard landscaping.

Aftercare

Once the garden has been completed, I can produce a maintenance schedule to help you keep your garden looking its best.
