Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to my portfolio website. I am committed to protecting your privacy. Because this website is a simple portfolio, it does not sell products, run advertisements, or use contact forms. However, because the site is hosted on the Wix platform, certain basic technical data is processed automatically.

2. Data We Collect and Why

This website only processes the minimum amount of data required to function securely and reliably.

  • Technical Information & IP Addresses: When you visit this website, the server automatically logs technical data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address. This is required for security purposes, to prevent malicious activity, and to ensure the website loads properly.

  • Cookies: This website uses essential cookies. These are small text files placed on your device to enable core functionality, such as security, network management, and accessibility.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

Under the UK GDPR, the lawful basis for processing this technical data is Legitimate Interests. It is necessary to process this data to ensure the website functions correctly and remains secure for visitors.

4. Third-Party Services

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix provides the technical infrastructure that allows this site to be displayed online. Your data may be stored through Wix’s secure servers and data centres. Wix is strictly compliant with UK and EU data protection standards.

I do not use any third-party marketing pixels, advertising networks, or tracking analytics tools (like Google Analytics).

5. Data Retention

Technical server logs and essential cookies are only kept for as long as necessary to fulfill their technical purposes (often expiring as soon as you close your browser session).

6. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data held about you. Because I do not collect names, email addresses, or identifiable personal records on this site, it is highly unlikely that I hold any data that can be linked directly back to you.
